Times in Quindalup and beyond

 Here's me and my Grandfather Geoff with his dog Sam back in the 70s. He had the first Subaru I knew about. Seemed like a very modern car at the time.

Here's another photo of Geoff. Out on a bush walk. Geoff and Margie traveled all over the outback, sharing with us the panoramic photo series' they took. My family would show them to locals from the villages on our boat trip in Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands.

Spotted....another Celica!

I got this photo just as the lights changed;

Relax....I'm still online!

 Hi, I have taken up my Facebook and YouTube "cushion trophies" since they arrived (meaning these events are run). You can still keep up with what I'm doing on Twitter; https://twitter.com/MichaelDavidRu2

I am also maintaining a St Luke's  Church web-page where I sometimes feature;
Most recently I have linked to a Go skateboarding page for this year;

 I am now attending Plaza roughly fortnightly and next fortnight is Good Friday. Hopefully, I can find some time during the school holiday week.

Canning River wetlands delivers

 A day later and Canning River wetlands delivers...

It all started with observing the local Jellies;
Before long...
...along came a Swan!
using my binocular with my mobile was tricky;
...but effective!
pretty snazzy eh?
after a while, it swam off again

I was back down Jackadder Lake Reserve Woodlands

 Back in Year 9 in Churchlands SHS I took this out at the lake for photography class;

It has a couple of photographic chemical effects including sepia and solarise I think.

Well, I was back down there and took a few more photos:

Corella's were there
some swamp hens
A pelican hung around while a "Darter" dried its wings?
some coots but no swans?

Bird watching in Bibra Lake

 Did not see too much at this spot near a golf course driving range;

Some pigeons and Hew Holland Honeyeaters, Corellas and (others?) did a flyover. A wattlebird was very chirpy nearby. Eventually, I got in trouble for loitering around with binoculars.

Usually, when out and about I can fall into my old bad habit of garbology. On the way home another rare sighting; A Toyota Celica!

Dolls Dresses

 As a rule I am not online shopping this year; (new year resolution)
However a few purchases from Wish have arrived; some new doll's dresses.

Back at Plaza Smash yesterday

...mostly cleaning the office, lunchroom, toilets and some cars.

an unusual Japanese import Honda;
I had trouble reading the katakana on this car's window...
...passes the time.
some works in progress;

House cleaning time out bird watching

 I was aiming to do some bird watching near Shelly Bridge on the Canning River but on this occasion ended up at the Wilson Wetlands

I messaged my brother Jon some pictures and he told me this was an Australasian Darter;
(A Cormorant has a hooked beak)
it caught me blowing some bubbles
on an earlier occasion, I was at a bush block in Hamilton Hill

Faceblog feed reconstrcution

 Not sure what happened but the last 6 months has remained unreported till now.

Let's see what I can re-construct. On my Chromebook, I found this picture from November 2020. I play some post-apocalyptic games. This screenshot; Alive in a Shelter. I more often play The Wanderer and every month or so only now I play Fallout Shelter.
